New FACEBOOK Page

Hi everyone! Mrs. Hines has set up a Facebook account to post homework and upcoming events. You DO NOT have to be a member of Facebook to view the page. As a sidenote, I just want to thank all of the wonderful parents for the support over the past few months. It has been wonderful teaching and "taking care" of your children. I have had an absolute blast!! I can't say enough good things about the students...they were awesome!!!!! I wish your children the best of luck the rest of this year and after. I know they will do an excellent job on the PSSA's!!

Reminder...

Hi everyone!! Just a reminder for everyone, Mrs. Hines will be returning to the classroom tomorrow! We're all looking forward to having her back and welcoming her back into her classroom!! This is also my last week with the class...it's been a blast! I have enjoyed every minute of it! What a great bunch of students...they were wonderful...silly, smart, and kind-hearted! Couldn't have asked for more! I will miss them for sure! As for the blog, it will be finished this Friday. Hello everyone! We had another lesson with Mrs. Chicka today. Ask your child to tell you what she talked about! Homework is as follows...

Also, there is a reading story this week. The way we are doing things is a bit different this week. The students all received a copy of the reading story that they will be using in class and also taking back and forth from school to home. Please make sure your child is reading this book. He or she will be bringing home another book later in the week. These both need to be brought back to school. The test will cover both of the stories. Hi everyone! Reminder...Scholastic Book orders are due if you plan on ordering books! If your child would like to and you approve, you may send in a healthy snack for your student. We usually eat a snack around 10. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we receive a snack from the aafeteria, but not the other days.

NOTE ABOUT READING AND LANGUAGE TESTS

Hi everyone! With the upcoming weather that is predicted to occur, we have decided to give the reading and language tests today. If there is a delay tomorrow, there might not be enough time to take the test. The students have been working on the story since last week. If you feel that your child's grade has suffered from taking the test today, he or she will be allowed to retake the test. Hi everyone! Don't forget, tomorrow is wear your summer clothes day! Pay a $1 and your child will be able to wear their favorite summer clothes/apparel (sunglasses, visors, etc.) and the money goes to a great cause!!
